Regional Meeting with Leaders and Volunteers (Ialoveni, October 4, 2025)
On October 4, 2025, in the city of Ialoveni, the proFilios Regional Meeting took place with leaders and volunteers from 31 day centers in the central region of the Republic of Moldova.
The event was opened by Vice President Marin Sevastian, who shared an encouraging message, motivating the volunteers to continue their involvement in this important ministry. He also expressed gratitude to each volunteer for their dedication and later presented an overview of the year’s activities and the results of local fundraising efforts.
The leaders of the day centers and the volunteers shared inspiring testimonies about their experiences and the impact of their service.
Gheorghe Mihailov, coordinator of the Professional Training Program (PTP), presented the achievements of young people in acquiring new professions and their successful results.
Additionally, President of PRO FILIOS, Dumitru Sevastian, led a practical and motivating seminar for volunteers, offering useful resources and encouragement for their continued service. He also shared information about the activities planned for the upcoming cold season.
The leaders and volunteers spoke about the positive impact the day centers have on socially vulnerable children, their families, the local churches, and communities.
The event concluded with a joint prayer for the needs of the day centers and a group photo that captured the joy and unity of all participants.
